Nedi Construction is a Gauteng-based home renovation company founded in February 2026 by Phumi Malinga, with one clear purpose: to give South African homeowners renovation work that is built to last.

Phumi’s path into construction was not a conventional one. With over 25 years of experience working closely with people and a solid grounding in safety practices and compliance, she brought a different kind of leadership into an industry that too often gets reduced to who can quote the lowest price. Around her, she built a team of experienced tradespeople, professionals with more than 10 years of combined construction experience and a shared commitment to doing the job properly.

The idea behind Nedi Construction started with a frustration many South African homeowners will recognise. Good money spent on paint jobs that fade and crack within two years, only to start the whole process over again. Specialist finishes like Gamazine and Rhynolite offered a better answer, surfaces that hold their look and integrity for twenty years or more. That became the foundation Nedi Construction was built on.

As a home renovation company serving Gauteng, Limpopo, and North West, Nedi Construction currently focuses on residential renovations, with commercial renovation services coming soon as our NHBRC registration progresses. We are registered on the CSD database and committed to meeting full industry compliance as we grow.

We are a small team by design, three skilled tradespeople and a driver, which means every Nedi Construction project across Johannesburg, Pretoria, or Limpopo receives real attention and consistent quality, not a rushed handoff between subcontractors.
